OPTION 1: Purchase a LouseBuster device and kill head lice and their eggs in your school as soon as lice are detected.

By purchasing a LouseBuster™ device and using it in your school, you can minimize absenteeism, revenue loss, and the spread of head lice by treating head lice cases quickly. Once infestations are discovered, you can treat infested students immediately, allowing them to return back to class without interruption depending on school policy. The 30-minute treatment is completely dry and non-chemical. In most areas, the procedure can be done by a nurse or any qualified employee or volunteer after completing a short, required training and certification program. Schools can have parental consent forms signed at the beginning of the year, or written parental permission can be obtained as needed.

OPTION 2: Refer the case to a LouseBuster™ treatment service provider.


If it is not feasible to purchase a LouseBuster™ device for your school, you can refer your students to the LouseBuster™ treatment service provider in your area. For a modest cost, a LouseBuster Certified Operator™ can perform a LouseBuster™ treatment at school or at the child’s home. Service contracts for on-demand LouseBuster™ treatments, head checks, and educational seminars are available in your area. During house calls, our LouseBuster Certified Operators™ can do head checks of the entire family and treat all infestations, thus reducing the chances of re-infestation by other members of a family or household.
